We have all watched as the number of COVID-19 infections has risen across our country. It will be several weeks before we begin to see a peak in viral activity, and this virus will be in our community, to some degree, for many months to come.
Cooper Aerobics' primary focus is improving the quality and quantity of your life through prevention—and has been for 50 years. Watch this brief video from Cooper Aerobics President and CEO Tyler C. Cooper, MD, MPH, on the importance of preventive measures to help keep you healthy.
Building a Robust Immune System
Cooper Clinic preventive medicine physicians encourage everyone to continue to care for their bodies, which are designed to naturally fight infections with a robust immune system.
Do not smoke or vape!
A healthy diet is an important part of maintaining a good immune system.
Adequate sleep is essential to maintain optimal health.
Moderate exercise most days of the week is, of course, a mainstay of good health.
Adequate vitamin supplementation may be of benefit (especially if your diet is not optimal) to enhance your immune system.
The health and safety of our patients, members, customers and guests are our primary concerns. Below is an overview of the actions we're taking within our facilities to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Comprehensive preventive medical examinations are suspended for the time being out of an abundance of caution; we anticipate resuming our normal exam schedule in the near future, depending on viral activity and public health recommendations
Our physicians and support staff are available to assist Cooper Clinic patients with chronic health issues, follow-up labs and imaging, prescription refills and to answer any questions
Cooper Clinic Platinum concierge medicine practice is still providing acute and chronic care services for its patients
Enhanced cleaning policies continue to ensure surfaces, door handles and equipment are wiped down many times during the day
Patients are screened for a history of current illness both prior to their Clinic visit and at the time of check-in
Temperature screens are conducted on all individuals upon entering the Clinic buildings
