There are two ways to support Hunger Action Month at Cooper Aerobics. 1) Donate canned or non-perishable food items (drop off donation in the CFC lobby) or 2) donate online, $1 = three meals for those in need.

An annual tradition, we’re gathering a Cooper team to walk in the Dallas Heart Walk on Saturday, Sept. 14, beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the base of Reunion Tower in Downtown Dallas. To join our team, register on our Cooper Aerobics team page. Donations are welcomed, but not required to participate.

What is your favorite form of physical activity? Weight lifting/strength training.

After a great day at work, I like to…Sit on the couch with my wife and dogs and watch sports.

What do you consider your greatest achievement? Getting straight A’s in college for three straight semesters after never getting straight A’s in high school.

Hometown: I was born in Louisiana but have lived all over the United States.

Previous work experience prior to coming to Cooper: I was a physical therapist at Mid Cities Physical Therapy working in spine rehab. I also started a cancer rehabilitation program there.

What is your favorite form of physical activity? I love to mountain bike! There are some really great trails right here in Dallas, but many others all over the state.

After a great day at work, I like to…Chill out by the fireplace with a glass of wine with my dog and my boyfriend.
