Debra Dominguez

Years at Cooper: Started in November 2019

Hometown: I was born and raised in California and then lived in El Paso, Texas, for 19 years before moving to Dallas in August 2019.

Previous Work Experience: I started out in the medical field specializing in pediatrics and working in general medicine as a nurse. I went on to work in construction sales and then opened my own retail businesses. While running those business I got certified in physical fitness and health nutrition and opened a youth athlete organization training kids to enhance their athletic skills. I was recently certified in financial planning and insurance sales. I continue to keep my experience in fitness training, herbal medicine and nutrition along with the medical industry.

What is your favorite form of physical activity? I love to work out, but to get my adrenaline going I love to race cars.

After a great day at work, I like to…Relax and spend conversational time with my family.

What do you consider your greatest achievement? The knowledge I continue to gain, the love and kindness I share and the service I provide to others.

How would you like to be remembered? As a person who touched the hearts of many with complete unselfishness.

I am most productive when…I am challenged.

How many siblings do you have? I have five siblings and I am the second youngest.

How would your closest friends describe you (in three words)? Loyal, family-oriented and outgoing.

Do you prefer outdoor or indoor workouts? I like both, but I guess I prefer indoor.

If you competed in the Olympics, what sport would you participate in? I love gymnastics and would have loved to have been competitive at it.
