Hometown: Long Island, New York

Previous work experience prior to coming to Cooper: I have been a licensed nail technician since 1990. I completed cosmetology school while graduating high school in New York. I moved to Texas in 1995 and have been in the spa industry ever since.

What is your favorite form of physical activity? Yoga and indoor cycling.

After a great day at work, I like to…Spend time with my family.

Best advice you’ve ever received? Be yourself. Everyone one else is taken.

What is your favorite family tradition? Christmas Eve I cook Italian dishes my grandmother always made. Stuffed artichokes and pasta with seafood. And most of the time, I try to bake some of my grandmother’s recipes like struffoli (Italian honey balls) and anginetti (Italian lemon cookies). My mom was born in Italy and being a first-generation American I really try to keep these traditions going.

How would your closest friends describe you (in three words)? A loyal friend.

Do you prefer outdoor or indoor workouts? Outside. I love the sky, clouds, moon, sun and stars. I’m always taking pictures.

What is your favorite saying/quote/phrase? Still I rise.

What product could you not live without? Mascara.

If you could have any pet, what would you choose? My two Labrador retrievers, Axle and Leo.

What book has influenced you and why? Redeeming Love by Frances Rivers. The main character lives a very hard life since she was a child. She overcomes all of it by finding a relationship with God, with help from a man who fell in love with her.

Where is your ideal vacation spot? Winter Park and Breckenridge, Colorado, if I’m feeling adventurous and the beach if I just want to relax. I love just about any beach and my favorite so far is Cayman Islands.
