HELP US GUIDE THE WORLD TO BETTER HEALTH

We each have unique passions and gifts that help shape our communities. At The Cooper Institute, we are passionate about helping others lead healthier lives. Your donation supports research and innovative programming that helps people live longer, healthier lives. A world where people live Well. Into the Future. is possible, but only with your help.

The Cooper Institute investigates the links between cardiorespiratory fitness, good health and longevity.

  • Throughout our 52 years, we have proven higher fitness levels to be associated with a dramatic decrease of dying from all causes, lower risk of cardiovascular disease and lower risk of dementia and certain cancers.
  •  We advocate for prevention and healthy living for children through our youth initiatives and programs, including FitnessGram®, the NFL PLAY 60 FitnessGram Project and the Healthy Zone School Program.
  • Texas has the 8th highest obesity rate for youth ages 10-17 and the 12th highest adult obesity rate in the U.S., and we continue to fight for stronger PE, recess and nutrition policies.

With obesity and inactivity rates at an all-time high, especially in adolescents, The Cooper Institute’s ongoing research and education are more crucial now than ever.

Please consider making a donation that will help The Cooper Institute continue to provide health-changing research and education that will allow all of us to live Well. Into the Future.
