Bryan LennonMANAGEMENT MESSAGE
from Bryan Lennon, General Manager

Summer is here and so is camp season at CFC. Each summer we serve more than 100 children weekly in our camps, helping them stay active and healthy. This year, camps run now through August 9.

A majority of the time our camp activities are outdoors. However, since there are specific times each day we utilize the indoor facilities, we want you to be aware so you can plan your workouts accordingly. Below is a camp use schedule.

FACILITIES USAGE

Family Locker Room (changing for swim time):

  • Every Week (M-F): 9:40-10 a.m.; 11-11:20 a.m.; 2:45-3 p.m.

Basketball Court:

  • Every Week (M-F): 1:30-3 p.m.
  • June 17-21: 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
  • June 24-28: 10 a.m.-noon
  • July 15-19: 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
  • July 22-26: 10 a.m.-noon
  • July 29-August 2: 9 a.m.-noon

CFC Pool:

  • Every Week: Two west lanes, all day; reserved for adult and youth swimming lessons

Aerobics Studio:

  • Every Week (M-F): 2-3 p.m.

Also note, if we have a rain day, all camp activities will be held indoors for the safety of the children.

DRIVEWAY/PARKING LOT

The Preston/Willow entrance is used by camp parents to drop off and pick up their children during the following times Monday-Friday:

  • 8:30-9:15 a.m.
  • 2:10-2:45 p.m.
  • 3:40-4:15 p.m.

If you’re arriving on campus during these times, we encourage you to use an alternate entrance.

In addition, due to the Cooper Clinic renovation and the parking lot between the Clinic and tennis courts being inaccessible, the driveway in front of the mansion and the main CFC entrance is temporarily one way. See the map.

GEESE & DUCKS

During the summer months we also have an abundance of geese and ducks on campus. Please do not feed the wildlife. Help us keep the lawns clean and healthy for our campers and members alike.

Thank you for your support each summer to allow us to better serve our family of members. If you would like to register your children, grandchildren or nieces and nephews, visit cooperyouth.com/Dallas.
