Erin SingletonErin Singleton
Massage Therapist, Cooper Spa

Years at Cooper: Started in June 2018

Hometown: Dallas, Texas

Previous work experience prior to coming to Cooper: I’m self-employed when I’m not working here, and I worked at The Spa at II Creeks in Richardson for six years before that. Prior to that, I had a variety of jobs, including doing demonstrations with fire and explosions at Science Museum Oklahoma, stage managing and being a nanny.

What is your favorite form of physical activity? Yoga all the way! Josh Cuellas, a CFC Professional Fitness Trainer, has been getting me back into cardio, though.

What do you consider your greatest achievement? Earning a skill set that allows me to relieve pain for a variety of dysfunctions and disorders.

Best advice you’ve ever received? Happiness is a choice.

If you could have a super power, what would it be? I’d love to be able to stop time! It goes by so quickly.

I am most productive when…I’ve been working out and eating well and when I’m listening to a podcast!

Do you volunteer in your community? I do a little bit through my church, Eastside Community Church, and I also volunteer with Young Life.

What is your favorite family tradition? Getting a Christmas tree right after Thanksgiving.

What would your high school friends have predicted you’d be doing today? Probably something very loud and not at all what I do now! I was very extroverted and loud in high school, so probably something with public speaking or leading exercise classes.

If you had to sing a karaoke song, what song would you choose? Maybe “Living on a Prayer” or “Come On Eileen.” Something everyone would end up singing along with would be great.

What are three things you can always find in your fridge or pantry? Hummus, veggies that go well with hummus and protein shake mix.

What is your guilty pleasure? Comic book movies.

Where is your ideal vacation spot? Probably somewhere in California because I’d love access to the beach and to the mountains.
