At age 100, longtime member Orville Rogers set a new world record at the USATF Masters Indoor Championships on March 17. His achievement has been featured nationally including on ESPN, ABC “World News Tonight” and FOX’s "FOX and Friends".

Longtime member Betty Swenson celebrated her 91st birthday on March 13. Following the Classics Pilates class, the group gathered in Cedars Woodfire Grill for coffee and cake.
Led by Swim Pro Marni Kerner, our first Youth Triathlon Training Clinic began in March. Participants meet on Sunday afternoons to train in all three sports—swimming, biking and running—in addition to learning about nutrition and goal setting in preparation to complete a triathlon. Cooper Fitness Center team members attended the International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association (IHRSA) 2018 Convention March 21-24 in San Diego. Thousands of fitness professionals attended the four-day convention that included educational seminars, group workouts, a trade show and more.
Our annual Eggstravaganza on March 31 attracted more than 1,000 attendees. Free and open to the public, some of the favorite activities of the morning were the egg hunt, face painting, goat yoga and live music. See photos.
Professional Fitness Trainer Shannon Edwards recently led an Orienteering birthday party for a group of more than 20 girls. Breaking into smaller groups, the girls worked together to locate all of the points designated on the map. See photos.
