Hometown: Dallas, Texas

Previous work experience prior to coming to Cooper: I worked in hospital food service at Medical City Plano and was a server at Cosmic Café. I also recently graduated with my bachelor’s degree from Texas Woman’s University (TWU).

What is your favorite form of physical activity? Pick-up basketball!

How would you like to be remembered? A hard worker who gave my all to do the right thing.

What’s the biggest compliment you’ve ever received? The compliment that I receive the most is that I am enthusiastic and it is contagious.

I am most productive when…I am doing something that I love.

If you competed in the Olympics, what sport would you participate in? Basketball. I played three years in college. One year I played at Abilene Christian University. I then played two more years at TWU where I was named defensive player of the conference, made the regional team and broke the school record in blocks!

What are three things you can always find in your fridge or pantry? Apples, almond butter and dark chocolate.

What is on your iPod or on your radio right now? It’s summertime and I listen to the Beach Boys all summer.

Where is your ideal vacation spot? The beach! I plan to take a two-year “vacation” to the beach in Galveston where I will complete my master’s degree and dietetic internship.
